Curious how to bring one of our little bundles of joy home? Here’s a step-by-step guide to make your bunny adoption as smooth—and delightful—as possible:
1. Reserving Your Bunny
If a particular bunny has hopped into your heart, start by sending us a message at faithsteadjourney@gmail.com to start the process. If your bunny isn’t old enough to leave the nest, you may reserve them with a $50 deposit via Venmo or Apple Pay.
- Deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind—but if the cancellation is on our end, we’ll gladly return it.
- Deposits are non-transferable, so please choose carefully!
This ensures your future companion is safely reserved and waiting just for you.
2. Payment
The remaining balance can be paid:
- In full at pickup, or
- In full in advance via Venmo or Apple Pay
This helps make your bunny’s journey to their new home simple and stress-free.
3. Pickup
Your little bunny will be ready to start their new adventure at 6 weeks or older. We ask that they be picked up within 7 days of becoming available, or the deposit will be released and the bunny will hop back onto our available list.
Helpful tips:
While we are very experienced in determining gender, it cannot be guaranteed, so we encourage all adopters to spend a little time inspecting their new companion before taking them home.
Bring a carrier (cat-sized works perfectly!) or a sturdy box with a soft towel to make the ride cozy and safe for your new friend.
We raise our bunnies with love and care, and to the best of our knowledge, they are healthy and well-cared for at the time of adoption. However, we cannot guarantee health, genetics, or physical traits, and once your bunny hops off to their new home, we cannot be held responsible for illness, accidents, genetic issues, or mis-gendering.
