Sojourner Storycast

In this Sojourner Storycast episode, we see that the gospel of Jesus was never meant for one nation alone. What began as a promise to Abraham now reaches the Gentiles through the story of Cornelius and Peter. As Peter enters the home of a Roman centurion, God reveals that the good news of Jesus is for every nation, every background, and every person who believes. Through the vision of the sheet and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Peter witnesses something incredible: the same Spirit given in Jerusalem and Samaria is now poured out upon the Gentiles. This was not the result of human effort, Jewish customs, or ceremonial laws, but of God’s sovereign grace. Through Jesus Christ, the dividing wall between Jew and Gentile is broken down, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, God gathers people from the ends of the earth into one family in His kingdom.
